If you’re in the market for a top-performing sample roaster, look no further than the Giesen WPG1. As a roasting consultant and trainer with years of experience working with various sample roasters, I can confidently say that the WPG1 beats out all other drum-operated sample roasters on the market.

The Giesen WPG1 sample roaster is a top-performing machine that is perfect for coffee roasters of all levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking to hone your skills or an experienced roaster seeking a reliable tool, the WPG1 has everything you need. In addition to its primary function as a sample roaster, the WPG1 is also a valuable tool for qualifying and inspecting small samples of green coffee, creating commercial roasting profiles, and training junior roast masters. If you’re in the market for a top-performing sample roaster, the Giesen WPG1 is a wise investment that you won’t regret.

Features of Giesen sample roasters

One of the standout features of the Giesen WPG1 is its ability to complete a roasting profile while monitoring the rate of rise (ROR) on the control panel. This gives users the same level of versatility and control as with larger production roasters. Additionally, the WPG1 allows for variable air pressure settings, adjustable drum speed, and the option to record roasting profiles using software like Giesen Profiler, Cropster, or Artisan.

The Giesen Profiler software also offers the ability to replay previously recorded roasting profiles.

In addition to qualifying and inspecting small samples of green coffee before purchase, Giesen sample roasters like the gas-fired WPG1 or electric heating WPE1 are useful for creating commercial roasting profiles and training junior roast masters. If you’re considering investing in a sample roaster for your coffee roasting business, I highly recommend the Giesen WPG1. At Boot Coffee Campus in San Rafael, CA, we have the WPG1 available for testing. Feel free to drop by and give it a try.

Hi hope everyone is happy and well. I want to open a small one man coffee stand in the U.S. Most of my beans, for the small amount of business I expect, I can get from expert roasters in the SF Bay area. But developing signature flavor profiles is a long term goal and while Kalvo gets a lot of good reviews on Amazon, it’s wiser to start professionally for the long term. Your quality is unquestionable and I really only need to know unit prices, shipping costs and estimates of shipping time in that protracted aspect of the equation. Gratefully, Arthur
