[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]It is now eight years that we manufacture, deliver and install our own coffee roasters and we have met a lot of interesting people along the way. Our customers vary from professional roasters, to coffee shops, bars, restaurants or occasionally private people roasting their coffee at home. Despite their differences they all have one thing in common: their love for good coffee. We like to share some of their roast stories with you. This blog post will be all about white label coffee in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

white label coffee

white label coffee is a Dutch specialty coffee roastery located in Amsterdam. white label coffee is run by the enthusiastic Francesco and Elmer, two friends who have combined their experience in roasting coffee with their passion for coffee and entrepreneurship. They make fresh coffee which they select and roast very carefully to be able to serve the best quality to their customers. Their roastery is furnished as a living room with the Coffee Roaster placed in the middle. This enables their customers to feel relaxed and at home so they can fully enjoy their coffee. They also sell their coffee in their shop and webshop.

Quality as key value

At white label coffee the only thing that matters is good coffee. High quality and nothing else. This is exactly why they called their company white label coffee for “a white label is at the heart of our philosophy for it is simple, plain and open to creation”. Besides quality white label coffee also emphasises openness and simplicity as their key values. The latter is very visible in their roastery as they only serve four types of coffee there: black, milk, more milk and filter. white label coffee’s vision on coffee: “As coffee is a fruit we believe it is not meant to be sharp, bitter or burned. As seed of the fruit it’s meant to be acidic and sweet and we see it as our duty as coffee roaster to hit this sweet spot where we taste what characterizes a specific coffee and the flavor flourishes.”

Choosing a Giesen W6 Coffee Roaster

white label coffee started out in March 2014. At first they roasted their coffee at the external party espressofabriek in Amsterdam. The ties between white label coffee and the espressofabriek were strong because Francesco had worked there for years before opening his own shop. But luckily business went well and Francesco and Elmer decided to buy their own roaster. This would give them the freedom to roast on the spot and whenever they wanted. In the search of a high quality coffee roaster they tried out several roasters of different brands. After a thorough evaluation they decided to choose our W6 Coffee Roaster for the following reasons:

“We chose the W6 of Giesen Coffee Roasters because we were already familiar with their roasters and know about the high quality of the machine and roast. We appreciate that Giesen Coffee Roasters is very easy to reach, a reliable Dutch brand and that they really think along with us. When they came to install our roaster for example we had a minor set back because the Coffee Roaster had to be lifted over some large steps in our roastery which was more complicated than we thought. Instead of suggesting an external party which would lead to additional costs and delay for us, they came up with a very practical solution for this problem. We were happy that the roaster could be installed the same day after all.”
