This season stands for educating and learning. Every episode a special guest joins Filip to talk about the different disciplines in coffee roasting. We want to bring in new influences and latest techniques of roasting coffee, so that you can learn something new every time you listen in the car, the roastery or just at home.

Roasting safety is one of the most overlooked, yet most important factor in coffee roasting. What to do when a fire breaks out? How do you keep everyone in your roastery calm and collected during panic? Do you have an evacuation plan that still is relevant? Budha knows what to do. He owns his own roastery in Sweden and he takes precautions that not everyone would think of doing. Our host Filip will ask him all about it and share also his thoughts about roasting safety!

Podcast #21 – Joanna Alm – Women in roasting

In this weeks podcast Filip invited Joanna Alm to talk about the subject ‘Women in roasting’. Joanna is the Managing Director of Drop Coffee Roasters, and on the Board of Directors of the Specialty Coffee Association. Enjoy!
